It is indeed a pleasure for me to
extend a warm welcome to users of the Ministry’s web site. I
hope that the aspects of our portfolio represented here will
give you a greater insight into the work of the Ministry of
Commerce, Science and Technology (with Energy) and indeed, the
Government of Jamaica.
The web site of the Ministry has links to the web sites of our
many agencies and major economic institutions in Jamaica, as
well as to other Government of Jamaica sites. We have tried to
design a user-friendly site and to provide you with timely and
accurate information.
As such, it is also our hope that this web site represents a
functional point of reference for both Jamaicans and
non-Jamaicans, at home and abroad.
We also wish to hear from you. So, please drop us a line with
